After this banger sunset, we were driving back to town with our sunroof open. We were in good spirits after a mellow surf day and beautiful views when we had a howler monkey almost join us in the car. He howled so loud right into our open roof that the color drained from our faces and we sped home so quickly. We walked down from our Airbnb just in time to catch the perfect sunset. Playa Maderas is one of the best beaches I've ever been to. A short and gorgeous walk down from Tacos Locos brings you to a secluded section with hardly any fellow beach goers in sight. You'll also find Matilda's where you'll get great burritos and cold cervazas.
