Silver Beach Hotel
8/10 Good
"The place is very convenient to the walking shops. Plenty of parking spaces. Our room is clean and spacious. We got the balcony facing the beach which is so nice view. It's a nice place."
The Inn At Harbor Shores
8/10 Good
"My husband and I just got back from a quick two-night getaway here. We had a really good time overall, but there were definitely some hits and misses! The Good Stuff:The hot tub was amazing and super relaxing.Getting a free welcome margarita when we checked in was such a fun, unexpected surprise. The room looked modern and was mostly really clean. Housekeeping did miss a couple of small things—like an old coffee pod left inside the Keurig and a leftover paper plate out on the balcony (we just tossed it ourselves, no big deal since I know balconies are hard to keep up with). The Not-So-Good Stuff:My biggest letdown was the beach situation. The description on Hotels.com explicitly calls it a "rare find" where you can "enjoy uninterrupted access to the beach." There actually isn't a beach here at all—it's just a harbor. A real beach is close by, but we had to drive to it every time. The room view was also pretty misleading. We got a "Golf View," but that really means you're looking at a parking lot and railroad tracks first, with the golf course way in the background. I was hoping to read my book looking at green grass, not a parking lot!Lastly, we bought some drinks at the bar later on, and honestly, the free check-in margarita in the plastic cup tasted way better than the expensive one we paid for."
