Vacation Village in the Berkshires

"⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 Stars) My group and I recently stayed at Vacation Village in the Berkshires. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and located in a lovely area. We especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, which were excellent amenities and a highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, I cannot give a 5-star rating because of our experience during a prolonged power outage that lasted most of the day on Saturday. The outage significantly disrupted our plans, and our group was unable to enjoy many of the activities and amenities we had planned months in advance. While I understand that power outages and unexpected situations can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of clear communication regarding the cause of the outage and what guests could expect. More transparency and updates from management would have helped ease the frustration and uncertainty experienced by many guests. Overall, the resort has a lot to offer, and the facilities are very nice. However, better communication during emergencies is essential and would have made a difficult situation much easier to manage. **Pros:** Beautiful property, great pool and jacuzzi, comfortable accommodations. **Cons:** Extended power outage and insufficient communication from management during the incident. Would return, but I hope the resort improves its communication and guest support during unexpected events."

"There is no protein option for breakfast. Milk might be the only choice. I personally don’t like to have carbs and anything sweet in the morning. If you are from Asia, American style breakfast might be a concern. Other than that, overall I enjoy my stay here. Perfect location to enjoy the foliage season!"

"Lovely, super clean unit with nice furnishings, however, the dining chair cushions need a good cleaning as the dirt could be seen. There also was candy/gum stuck to one of the cushions and another cushion was completely loose from the chair. There was mention of a "two-burner hotplate" in the description, but the photos showed a two-burner electric stove top. What actually is there is a two-burner infared hotplate. Instructions on how to use it is posted on the wall above the sink, not on the wall above the hotplate. Unfortunately, we were assigned an end unit in Building #13, which is currently being renovated. There was a family occupying the unit above us. The children ran up and down the stair and allowed the outside door to slam each and every time until late in the evening. No noise during quiet hours though. :o)"
