"Friendly owner and staff , nothing was a problem for them . After a busy night in Blackpool we stopped here for the night on our way back to Edinburgh. We were looking for some peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got in the most tranquil location. Check in was not until 4pm but we arrived around mid day for a bit lunch . Owner said it would be fine to book in around 2ish and gave us some ideas on what to look at in the area for a few hours. Soup of the day for lunch with home made bread was excellent and steak and ale pie for dinner was the best I’ve had and to wash it down with a pint of Lilly’s ruhbarb cider 🍺 . Breakfast is included with your stay and they had everything on offer and I mean everything. The full English is just what you need to get your day started. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
