Arrived to the Coast to find out it was closed down. I had no notification of its closing! It was a terrible inconvenience we had to find another place to stay!

Place was recently updated. Was convenient, and clean. Bed sheets need replaced was only complaint.
Cute, clean, quiet. Air conditioner worked really well - actually worked a little too well, brrrr. The shower definitely needs a shower curtain. The dresser did not match the decor of the sleek, modern minimalistic room but not a dealbreaker.
We had a horrible experience at this property, though the manager Sean handled it very well. First of all, our room keys were left where anyone could have taken/used/copied them and they had the room number written on them. Didn't make us feel very safe. Then, we got to the room and the comforter was so disgusting that we couldn't possibly sleep there. It was covered in what can only be described as bodily fluids, and they were fresh. It was late at night, so we thought maybe we could just remove the comforter, but the stains went through all the layers of sheets as well, meaning whatever had caused the stains had happened SINCE the bed had been made. We thought we were going to have to sleep in the car, but luckily we had the number for Sean, the manager, and he answered. He came to the room within a minute and brought the key to the little cottage that's available to stay in. We were very grateful that he had such a quick solution since we had been traveling all day, and the cottage seemed new and clean, but unfortunately, we couldn't get that first comforter out of our heads and never felt clean or comfortable for the rest of our stay. Also, there was luckily a Walmart nearby, because there was no conditioner, hair dryer, tissues, etc. Maybe I could've asked for these things at the office, but I just went and bought them. Overall, Sean's quick response and the upgrade to the cottage saved our stay, but we were so grossed out initially that we wouldn't stay here again.
The mattress wasn't too comfy. The sheets didn't seem to fit the bed well. There were a few dubious bleach stains on the blue bed cover. No hair dryer.
Quiet enough. Good location.
Probably would not go back.

Sink in bathroom was leaking and floor was slippery it wasn’t what expect the restaurant was closed no chef there was no room service I don’t think I will ever come back here
I was pleasantly surprised by The Coast. I was in town for the annual Fall fest and was expecting a beachy motel where I could just crash for two nights.
Its quaint and private, perfect for my purposes.
The room itself seemed to have been updated recently. TV offered both cable and streaming services. The bathroom had a rain shower and in general the floors seemed new. No musty old carpets!
The office attendant was very kind as I had to check in very late on my first night. And then had to call him twice for a small hiccup with ny room key and a wifi issue.
He was prompt, friendly and very welcoming.
I'd book here again for sure.
It was technically clean because the smell of disinfectant was so strong. It was a cheap motel room that cost a lot. The walls are thin. The bed skirts don't fit. The heat vent is a little rusty. The sink drain needed to be cleaned out. The bathroom shade was stained with something.
Looks like a old time motel from the outside but in nice condition. The room was very nicely modernized. Nice comfy king bed. We liked this motel, but the only issue was a pretty dirty laminate floor. The rest of the room was nice and clean.
The room and bathroom are updated and nicer than you would think from the outside of the property. It’s a quiet safe location close to the beach. The front desk was very friendly and professional.

Check in was easy, the location was convenient. Linens were clean and fresh. It suited our needs for an overnight stay. The walls in the room were dirty in spots and the heater in the bathroom was rusty.
Comfy bed, clean bathroom. However, they should provide more than one garbage. There was one in the bedroom. There should be one in the bathroom also. There were no tissues provided. They should be. The refrigerator had food left in it from the previous customer.
This place was great. Very clean, friendly staff and easy check in/check out. Very modern furnishings with updated bathroom. The mattresses should be replaced but other than that this is a great place to stay.
The staff was super helpful. Hair dryer in room was missing. When no other available ones were found, staff went and bought a new one from nearby stores.
I stayed in hotel 2 years ago and I liked it.
Currently in 2021 I stayed for 2 nights. The staff, Sean, was very nice and did his job well. The hotel is very nice and recently renovated. The sheets were clean and the surface areas appeared cleaned. However, the floors were not clean. My feet became dirty if I walked around in bare feet.
I told Sean and he showed concern. He also apologized.
I hope this problem is resolved because the hotel is nice, reasonably priced and I return to Westerly every year. I would like to stay there again.
Floors were dirty. Bathroom looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. Should've brought bleach. Paint was peeling of the wall and outside the front door too. The beds were nice though.
