Lovely country side hotel

Lovely hotel in a rebuild old dutch farm. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Everything is huge here compared to other hotels. It is the largest room I ever visited with a bathroom as large as the room itself.

Prachtig jugendstil pand, mooie ruime en comfortabele kamer, goed ontbijt in een unieke serre. Prima startpunt voor fietstochten of wandelingen. Diner was niet bijzonder en duur voor het gebodene. Vriendelijke bediening.

Landgoed Westerlee is een prachtig hotel op en mooie locatie. De kamer die wij hadden was top, met een heerlijk 2 persoons bubbelbad. Het bed was overigens ook zeer fijn. Ik ben een slechte slaper maar het bed lag echt heerlijk en dat maken we wel eens anders mee. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ De ‘oprit’ was door de regen moeilijk begaanbaar en helaas wat minder goed verlicht. Gelukkig bracht de meegenomen zaklamp extra licht waardoor we geen natte voeten kregen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vwb het ontbijt, deze was de eerste ochtend erg karig. Het beleg was bijna op en het duurde even voordat het werd aangevuld. De Tweede ochtend was het ontbijt overigens prima! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Qua diner was er geen keus. Er werd een verassingsmenu. Daarom hebben we beide avonden buiten de deur gegeten. ⭐️⭐️ Het personeel was aardig en hulpvaardig. Misschien wel een idee om al het personeel van representatieve kleding te voorzien. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Al met al hebben we een heerlijk weekend gehad 👍

Prachtige honeymoon suite met een eigen ingang en seperaat gebouw. De trap naar de slaapkamer is met tapijt en glad en stijl. Mijn partner was er vanaf gevallen en loopt nu met blauwe plekken rond. Ook had het wel fijn geweest als er tenminste 1 fles water op de kamer stond. Eerder was het een sprookje

Besonderes Ambiente!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Im Detail sieht man aber auch schon die ein odere andere Abnutzungsspur. Ein für uns spitzenmäßiges Frühstück wurde uns angeboten!

Die Unterkunft sah von außen etwas heruntergekommen aus. Innen war es aber sehr hübsch. Unser Zimmer hatte eine tolle Lage, es muffelte aber bereits etwas, als wir es betraten. Das Badezimmer roch so, als wenn die Abflüsse lange nicht gereinigt wurden. Auf den weißen Regalen waren Ränder von Gläsern und ein paar Haare zu finden. Das Bett war in Ordnung. Insgesamt waren wir optisch zufrieden mit dem Zimmer. Allerdings fing es nachts an zu regnen und dann tropfte es durch die Decke auf meinen Kopf im Bett. Da der Bezug von Bettgestell fehlte und das Regal an dieser Stelle auch schon kaputt war, gehen wir davon aus, dass dies nicht das erste mal war. Durch die frische Feuchtigkeit im Zimmer, stank es wirklich noch mehr als vorher. Ein anderes Zimmer konnte man uns leider nicht anbieten, wir sind dann abgereist.

Verrassend verblijf met twee gezichten

Landgoed Westerlee is een verblijf anders dan doorsnee hotels. De oude Heerenboerderij geeft een andere dimensie aan je verblijf. Het personeel is voorkomend en vriendelijk. De keuken verdient alle lof voor een smakelijk verrassingsdiner. De kamers zijn ruim met goede bedden. Al met al zie je wel dat het hotel is gevestigd in een oud pand en hier en daar oogt het allemaal wat rommelig ( kinderbedjes op de gang, deuren in oude sponningen etc.) Het zwembad en sauna zijn ronduit smoezelig te noemen: niet fris en dat is niet 4 sterren hotel waardig. Grootste bezwaar voor de zakenreiziger is echter dat er pas vanaf 08:30 kan worden ontbeten. Leuk voor de vakantieganger, niet als je bijtijds wilt vertrekken voor werkzaamheden. Kortom : met enkele eenvoudige aanpassingen maakt Wetserlee haar 4 sterren status meer waardig !

Acht jaar geleden verbleven wij een keer in Landgoed Westerlee, dit jaar, vanwege vakantie in eigen land, op herhaling. Het hotel ligt heerlijk rustig en erg leuk dat iedere kamer een jacuzzi heeft, Helaas is het hotel wat vergane glorie, met name het bruidshuisje. Niet echt schoon, badkamer niet mooi afgewerkt en in de zomer veel en veel te warm (de mobiele airco unit deed niet echt veel). We hebben wel erg lekker gegeten in het restaurant.

Voor ons geen 4 sterren waard...sorry!

Het is een prachtig landgoed maar buiten lag het er onverzorgd bij. Het diner was een beetje ondermaats voor de prijs die je moest betalen en de wijn was duur. Wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het ontbijt was in orde maar geen "wauw gevoel". De kamers waren mooi en gezellig ingericht met een goed bed en er was een jacuzzi aanwezig in de badkamer wat een meerwaarde was. Het terras bij de kamer was niet onderhouden en de muren in de kamer konden wel een likje verf gebruiken. Wel een rustige omgeving en een goede uitvalsbasis om fietstochtjes te maken.

Comfortable stay

Lovely place plenty of character,quiet area. Friendly staff very helpful. Rooms are very large with a huge comfortable bed, spa bath and balcony. Food is very good and generous portions buffet breakfast is also good.
