"Enjoyed having place to ourselves, and able to make meals. Host showed us around, and gave some good hiking suggestions, and let us help feed the sheep! Good for people who don’t mind a quirky place to stay , and don’t need internet/wifi. Not far from town to get groceries at co-op. "

"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"

"The Boathouse was the most amazing 4 days cut off from Internet...phone...people but not from Nature, fantastic views and absolute peace and quiet...throw in the winter frost, zero light pollution and clear skies, stargazing on the open deck and panorama windows it was magical."

"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."
