"I absolutely loved my stay here, the room was basic but very clean and updated and the view was breathtaking. The breakfast is delicious and the restaurant was also excellent. What really made this place incredible though is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and really seemed to take pride in their work and in the property. They made the stay phenomenal and memorable. 100% will be back."

"Everything was great. The breakfast was delicious everyday we were there. The town was fun to walk through and convenient."

"5 mins away from Acadia National Park - spacious rooms, lovely staff, and the breakfast is definitely a plus!! Coming back here in the summer!"

"Super clean and well maintained. Staff so helpful and friendly. 100% would recommend and would come back!"

"Christopher was a lovely host! The hotel was better than I expected. The outdoor areas for room were a great surprise. My favorite part of the stay was the two spectacular cocker spaniels. I love them."

"Outstanding property and we’ll stay again. Clean, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is nice."

"No hot water placed a damper on an otherwise nice weekend. Would have enjoyed taking a shower!"

"We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

"Hotel has aCharming Character . Staff was friendly, helpful and warm. Convenient parking and easy access to downtown. Breakfast was delicious."

"Loved our stay at the Primrose Inn!"

"Such a cute hotel! It fit perfectly in my image of a small sea village. Staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations. I found great lobster. Clean and tidy"

"this place was the perfect spot to take in the shops, restaurants, bars, and beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was well appoinmted with a cute reading nook, clean sheets, and even a split AC unit should we have needed it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming.....not to mention great bakers! Breakfast was wonderful every day, with a baked muffin, and a choice of a sweet or savory meal. Coffee and tea were available all day. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going."

"The staff was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again"

"Room was well equipt with supplies in the kitchen and breakfast was hot."
