"What an excellent weekend away we had at The Lamb Hotel in the centre of Ely right opposite the Cathedral. I booked three dinner bed & breakfast rooms for our friend’s 60th birthday surprise. Our rooms a-joined the car park and were comfortable clean and spacious. The included dinner was great, catered for our gluten free friend and there was plenty of choice. Breakfast was very very slow, taking well over an hour to get our cooked breakfast - which for us was ok but they do need to iron out this issue. Parking is limited on site, but we were able to park up ok which was a great advantage. All in all was a great value weekend break and will definitely return."

"Can't fault the hotel and the stay. We stayed in the cute the smithy lodge/apartment. Clean large, great staff lovely pub/restaurants and the breakfast was great. Thank you and we hope to be back. Worth the trip from Loverpool."

"The BW Heath Court Hotel has that rare commodity in Newmarket: single-bed rooms! The staff, especially Emma in the dining/bar & Cheryl on reception are really helpful. An assortment of decent teas/coffees inc decaff & biscuits, shld u wish for a quiet night in! Been staying here for years & long may that continue!"

"Housekeeping was not the best We had to go to front desk twice during our week-long stay to request waste bins to be emptied and to request more toilet paper. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful Dinner in bar area was good. Staff were friendly and helpful Bathroom needed some attention The toilet seat was not the correct size and made sitting a little inconvenient"

"A must for any racing fan or anyone who wants a good night’s sleep as you cannot hear any noise from the High street. Beautiful settings and exceptionally well maintained. Breakfast very good. Helpful and friendly staff. 5 stars what else can I say."

"Room did not seem used for a while. Dead flies & cobwebs on the windowsill. Unfortunately very busy hotel. Breakfast good on first morning but only one waitress looking after busy restaurant on the second. Had to wait for table to be cleared. No clean tables available . No fresh fruit. All croissants gone & no pastries left . Told no more available . Had to wait 40 minutes before cooked breakfast served. Not impressed. Food in bar really good in the evening. Good value for money. Ladies in the bar very friendly & couldn’t do enough to help."
