"Perfect for an over night stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Important things very clean, though corners don't stand up to a close inspection. I had a lovely quiet room at the back - a free upgrade from that booked. Nice breakfast offering. Easy parking, but chargeable on road outside."

"This 500 year old pub is an absolute delight. Perfectly adapted to modern needs. I can’t remember a hotel stay where the staff were friendlier or more helpful. The accommodation, in the modernised stable block, is perfect for a comfortable stay, and both our evening meal and breakfast were of the highest quality. Strongly recommended."

"Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. "

"£90 to sleep in a single bed in a bathroom. If you want to use a bathroom, as a bedroom, at least make it look like a bedroom. Still had the cheap plastic on the walls, and a pull light switch. Completely unfunctonal room. Was too noisy to open the window and too hot to not have it open. 2 hours sleep, before getting awoken by another guest checking in. Would never go back, or recommended "
