"What a great spot. Very close to the beach / restaurants and supermarkets. The pics don’t do it justice it is a sweet villa with very clean amenities- the pool was gorgeous and a great treat for a nighttime dip. The host was lovely and accommodating. My only regret is not staying longer. We will absolutely return."

"La maison offre une vue époustouflante sur la montagne et la mer : un océan de verdure depuis le sommet du massif du Taygetos (2400m) jusqu'à la côte, puis tout le golfe de Messinie, de Kalamata jusqu'au sud de Petalidi. Levers et couchers de soleil magnifiques à savourer sur la grande terrasse.Nous avons reçu un accueil extrêmement chaleureux de la propriétaire et de sa fille, qui nous ont fait profiter de leur bonne humeur et de quelques excellents plats typiquement grecs faits maison. Merci encore. A noter, les propriétaires parlent un français quasi parfait.Très au calme, la maison dispose de tout le nécessaire pour le voyageur locataire (draps, serviettes, nécessaire de cuisine, nécessaire de toilette et de soins...)."

Romantic 350 Year Old Casa Sophia

"Beautiful traditional stone house with a wonderful sea view from the spacious terrace. Sophia and Mogens were wonderful hosts and welcomed us with a very generous welcome pack of food in the fridge and other essentials like bread, wine and beer - a lifesaver seeing as we arrived very late. Being longstanding residents themselves they were able to give us endless insider tips on what to see and where to eat. The kitchen was very well equipped so it was no problem to take full advantage of all the excellent food, fruit and vegetables available locally and enjoy leisurely home cooked meals on the terrace. They also provided us with very effective battery powered fans which were very good for keeping the mosquitos at bay outdoors and keeping us cool at night as we aren't too keen on sleeping with air-conditioning all night. The built in in air-con though was very effective. Sophia very kindly did our washing for us, provided beach towels and changed the linen in the middle of our stay. The village of Pyrgos is really charming and a very good base to explore this wonderful region. There is everything you need here for a really great holiday."

"We had an amazing stay at this villa. The view is amazing, the pool was more than welcomed in the afternoons and the inside is much bigger than what is shown in the pictures. Everything was extra clean when we arrived. Plenty of room for us 5. Very quiet and relaxing environment. Short driving distance from a nice cafe (Kriskios) and a couple of tavernas with fantastic views for a sunset meal.We would definitely love to go back. Thank you very much for this perfect holiday setting."

"The facility was gorgeous and immaculate. The host was very courteous. He even repaired the broken handle of my suitcase while we went sightseeing!!! We enjoyed his suggestion to go to nearby St Nicholas for dinner. It was a darling port town with great restaurants. We did not realize bed was located up a spiral stairs which might present a problem. One needs to have a car.but location is convenient if you have a car."

"Although we had some cloudy weather while staying at Amani Earthy Living, we had a lovely time. Matina provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and the breakfasts were tasty. She was kind enough to allow us to extend our departure time to enjoy some sun by the pool."
