"Great place to stay for the price, with fantastic transport links into Edinburgh City Centre and their own parking, would definitely stay there again if I had an event in Edinburgh. Sadly I didn't get to try their food as I was not around for mealtimes but the menu looked lovely and also very fairly priced. The 11am checkout time is great and they were really friendly about me being a little early for check-in after a long journey "

"Lovely boutique hotel, clean fresh rooms, the staff were wonderful, great breakfast and a lovely relaxed vibe in the evening for cocktails. Very central. The only reason I’ve given them a 4 for facilities and not 5 is that our room was on the third floor, 6 flights of steps with no lift. Difficult at 65 with a bad hip. The room overlooked the back alley, and you heard the loud noise of empty bottles being emptied into the skip. But that aside I would stay here again….but would ask for a lower...

"An amazing,peaceful 4 bedroom Scottish Inn with gourmet dining and a pub…swans on the river outside my window! I never wanted to leave! Lovely staff. Comfy bed and bedding. We chose it because it was a short taxi ride to the airport, but it turned out to be a highlight of our vacation!"

"This hotel has closed down and hasn’t notified Expedia or any other agent and is still taking bookings on their own website directly. Expedia gave me shocking customer service when I raised this with them. I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get them to believe me. Total disaster. Avoid Expedia at all costs. "
