"Our son and granddaughter live in Dover so we always find a place to stay so we can visit. This was one of our favorites. Right on bear lake beautiful sunsets the water was warm enough to swim. There was kayaks there to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes,seasoning. We had a great time. Just be careful driving in the road is pretty rough."

"We rented the house to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday with a small family vacation and it was perfect! We were able to bring my mom's dog and the four of us had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was great and is in a great location. The view is even better in person!! The only issue was that the heat was on 55 when we arrived so it took a few hours for the house to warm up - but it did no problem and the electric fireplace helped a bunch! I highly recommend staying here."

"I recently staying at the property with family and it was everything we could have hoped for. The cottage was lovely and clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. The owner thought of everything down to the finest detail. The property was lovely with the pool, hot tub and game room. We were a quick mile to the beach. I would absolutely recommend this rental."

"Grandmas cottage was just as described and really felt like visiting with grandma. The location was superb with an easy access to the trail into town. The views of the water from the porch were astounding. Overall a great stay and will definitely try to be back during the warmer months."

"As a traveling single female who is also a remote worker, this place is a dream. It's a great small space that has everything you need, Rob and Kayleigh thought of all the details. Check in was easy, it was super clean and inviting, and I felt safe the entire time. I was there for about a month and Rob's communication through out the stay was great, always asking if I need supplies, clean linens, and offering suggestions if needed. "The grounds are beautiful. Pools and playground kept very clean. The property around the cottage was over grown and not kept that great. Bathroom and kitchen sink did not seem to be cleaned. Overall I would recommend this facility but would not rent this cottage again."

"We had a great time! Swimming, paddle boards and kayaking! Grilled out dinners! This property provides everything! Tablecloth for picnic table, all kitchen supplies, grill supplies, and the list goes on! The nights got cool which was good. There are only 2 a/c’s in the house. Not only is this house dog friendly, but they provided dog bowls and an outdoor leash! My kids are 19, 17 and 7 and each one of them had a blast!"

"The propane stove smells of propane once an hour when propane comes in for the pilot light. Had to keep the window open the whole time and it was cold."

"The unit we stayed at was well kept. Feels new. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds were the best part, very comfortable. We had 1 full bath and 1/2 bath that were clean with tons of clean towels and quality brand Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Maine.
