"This was a comfortable place- not close to downtown at all and not in the best part of town from what we experienced. But we’re fine. And don’t suggest anyone staying alone- felt safer with a male guest we had. Bring your pillows. The beds had the latest pillows and I had to go buy my own to have a decent nights sleep. "This cabin offered close proximity to hiking, restaurants, shopping while offering awesome mountain views. We cooked some meals and the kitchen had the basics for making simple meals. Charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill was provided. The shuffleboard and cornhole games have seen better days but the pool was wonderful to have. "It was wonderful to find plenty of plates, utensils, and other basics in kitchen for preparing meals. Outdoor deck and pool area were more than anyone needs to enjoy the outdoors. Our pooch loved the wooded fenced in property. There were 6 of us, and we all agreed that your home would be a wonderful place to re-visit on another "USMC Reunion". "Our family throughly enjoyed our extraordinary week spent here. With myself having mobility issues, it was awesome that all living and sleeping areas, and all entrances were on the main level. We loved the absolute seclusion, but was easily accessible to get to. Our only neighbors were a some bear families...alot of them. We adored their daily visits, just note, don't leave the doors open to soak up the mountain air...they will make themselves at home 😉"

The glampsite is located very close to an event space that hosts a lot of weddings, so while not having access to running water/ bathrooms the better part of a Saturday wasn’t my favorite thing, it also wasn’t a dealbreaker. "This was one of the most beautiful VRBO's we have stayed at. The couple of minor issues that came up with being a new home were immediately addressed! It was fully equipped and the house was amazing. It was fun for all ages in our group, from the pickle ball court, cornhole game, and multiple games in the guest house. Most used was the fire pit!!!! The views are spectacular and sunrises breathtaking! We would go back in a heartbeat!!!!!"

I appreciated the fact that there were pots and pans in the kitchen, along with spices!! It was very clean and super homey! The swings on the porch were my favorite.
