"The room is large, the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a washing machine, and a dryer. There is a black university campus nearby, and it is a bit far away from the main tourist attractions."

"Both the host (CJ) and the property were phenomenal!! From smooth lining the experience for checking in to getting around the city the stay felt very personal and welcoming aside from only being aesthetically pleasing. There was plenty of room to stretch out, the directions to the location were easy to follow, and the pictures for the property were as posted. Our only regret was not staying another day. To make up for it, we just boasted about the stay to all our friends to at least consider...

"It was a safe location close to the subway and easy access to the national Mall and zoo. Parking is difficult and you don’t have a space with the rental so you just drive around until you find street parking and then walk to however far to the rental. You have to get a street parking pass (which we didn’t know) and didn’t have for the first few days (thankfully we didn’t get towed or fined). D stay here again for sure. It was clean and nicely appointed."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Hearth. It’s a great house with modern furnishings, a great kitchen, and super nice bathrooms. There is parking on premises or on street in you have larger than a midsize suv. The owner was responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again if back in DC!"

"Beautifully maintained and comfortable. There was six of us and taking the Uber everywhere we wanted to go was super easy and inexpensive. We would stay here again!"

"Great location and extremely responsive hosts. Close to all the major museums/sites and within driving distance to those that are in outlying areas. Great locally owned restaurants and bodega/convenience store next door for those items you forgot to bring. We would definitely stay here again."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great penthouse with everything you need. We stayed for four months and loved it. It has a coveted parking space (rare for the area), and is walking distance from bars, restaurants, and parks. The property manager is also terrific."
