"A lovely old coaching inn in a nice setting. My room had a view of the cathedrala and green. Ideal for a short visit and I managed to get there in time for a car parking place. Only downside was no lift"

"This is our regular Hotel when visiting wells to see family, Always get a good welcome, nice big rooms, with a traditional bath tub which we both love as only have wet room at home, it was very busy at breakfast,we were greeted and sat down smoothly, the Breakfast offer gets better every time we visit, food quality was excellent, looking forward to our next visit."

"Everything was great, friendly staff and everything maintained to a high standard. The breakfast was great and in a lovely setting. The only issue I had was I couldn’t connect to the WIFI when I needed to as the code wasn’t in the visitor guide. It simply said speak to a member of staff if you are having trouble, but it was too late for that and unfortunately this is a far greater inconvenience that maybe it should be. But such is the world we live in. This is, however, surely a very simple fix. In any case, I do plan on staying here again on a regular basis, needing to stay in Glastonbury at least once per month for the foreseeable future. I will just make sure I get connected during check in moving forward and that’s the one tip I would give to others, as that small hiccup aside, you couldn’t ask for a nicer place reasonably priced."

"Very welcoming, we were shown to our rooms with assistance offered for luggage. After settling in we visited the lovely bar and enjoyed the real ale which was on offer. Various local folk and other guests arrived and it was amazing that everyone got on so well and chatted away as if they had known each other for ever. We had dinner which was excellent at reasonable prices too. The only slight downside was that the inn was unable to offer breakfast although this is being sorted out imminently. Instead we were goven discounts at a local café which was, itself excellent. If staying in this area again we will one hundred percent stay here again."

"Friendly staff, really good size room, nicely decorated. Let down by a really uncomfortable mattress that was lumpy and uneven plus a foul smell of fungus in the bathroom. The bathroom itself looked clean, so I suspect it originated in the drains."

"The staff were very nice and genuine. Breakfast was straightforward and decent. The room was clean and comfortable, pressure on the shower was good. The hotel is at the top of a hill, which isn't an issue unless you have real mobility problems. The property has no lifts. There is a patrons car attached with an exit onto a small one way road, which was easy to exit."

"A spacious room with a small en-suite. Clean and tidy. Very large bed!! Quite quiet considering the proximity to the main road. Would stay there again."
