The Usual Rotterdam
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location. Easy walking distance from most attractions in the city centre and across the road from a metro station, which goes straight to Rotterdam Central Station (about 15 minute walk) if you have luggage. The metro also goes to The Hague. The social area on the ground floor is welcoming and a nice place to sit in an evening. The food was delicious and competitively priced. Two Albert Hein Supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the hotel that are well stocked. Other places like Delft are also only a short train journey away. We were 2 adults and 2 older teens sharing a room for 4 with a kitchenette. Kitchenette was fine for cooking basic meals. The main bed was comfortable. The bed settee not as much. The bathroom layout was a little unconventional for us, with the shower being frosted glass off the main room. My teens were reluctant to use the shower when we were all in the room. Other than that it’s a great place to stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Rotterdam. The hotel is in an excellent location for both attractions and restaurants and the room was very comfortable. We removed a star because reception seemed short staffed when we needed to them (eg to get keys for the spa) resulting in lengthy waits. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when it was our turn."

"I really enjoyed my stay at IntercityHotel Breda. The location is very convenient, close to the train station and also within easy reach of 5TRACKS, where I was attending an event. The room was very clean, comfortable and well set up, with a great bed. Having a parking garage right next to the hotel was also very convenient. Would definitely recommend!"

"Really lovely staff and spotlessly clean room. Good location. Would definitely stay here again. Kettle, coffee pod machine and good hair dryer in the room, water filter in the reception area too."

"Good hotel for the price. Great location next to Antwerp Centraal Station with Metro lines outside and below the hotel. Breakfast was good with a fair variety. It has a surprising plus by having next door the Chocolate Museum (greatly recommended to visit and buy the many varieties of brands). The hotel needs to improve customer service since to enter from outside there are about six or seven steps and it is hard to get there with your heavy luggage. There is a lift (elevator) that is shared with the passengers going to the Metro Station below, which overrides the users for the hotel, but because it’s heavily used by the Metro passengers that it is quite long the wait on the street (the elevator opens to the street) There plenty of restaurants around the area with small Chinatown on the same block."

"Everything was fine - great beds, great bathroom, great breakfast. However, a mouse decided to join us for breakfast - we saw it scuttling along the floor! It was dealt with quickly as far as I can tell. The lounge access was great - good drinks and good snacks. I would stay again."
