"Apparthotel in the center of Leuven, seemingly in a building converted from offices. Stay was good, quiet (despite some reviews saying the contrary), and above all excellent location. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful (but note: there is no 24/7 reception, only afternoon/evening). Rooms could use a bit of a refresh, they felt slightly tired and soulless, and the lighting was quite dim without being stylish. The art may be a question of taste. These were cosmetic rather than fundamental issues. Overall it was perfect for my purpose, better for a university conference than romantic getaway."

"Book it.1. It is close to Brusselstraat with a short walk to the Oude Markt and Grote Markt. 2. You pass 3 grocery stores during that short walk. 3. There are two balconies that span the front and back of the apartment so there is always shade and always sun. Also, it creates a wonderful breeze. 4. Air Conditioning that really works!5. Underground parking6. Clean. Clean. Clean.7. Beautiful sweeping view of Leuven. 8. An elevator and a washing machine. We stay all over Europe, but Leuven is close to our heart. We were able to visit friends, see old haunts, and hang out with locals. This was a perfect location to call home for a week- or a month!Roel is attentive, but not overbearing. He messaged us any time he thought we might like to know something going on (Like the Friday music concerts and the Belgium World Cup match). He is a great host; exactly the kind I like to have!"

"For decades this hotel has the best breakfast you can wish for, where you can boil your eggs to your likings, and the bread is always fresh and crispy. Real orange or apple juice and top quality tea and coffee. After a good night sleep on the comfortable beds that are provided in the spacious rooms. We had the family room, and enjoyed the huge space. Checking in can be a challenge if you have booked through Hotels.com, as the messages from the Hotel Management will. ot always reach you. The reception here closes early and you will need a code to open the hotel door. Thsi code is sent to you by Email, but filtered by Hotels.com. Knowing this, you can call the hotel on your day of arrival before 19.00 hrs and ask them for the code of the day."
