"A nice friendly value stay on Route 66 with food and winery / brewery minutes away. Great staff, check in was fast and friendly, room was more than adequate for the price, and breakfast and pool were nice additions. Convenient parking. Would stay again."

"We had an awesome time! Came down to visit our son n his family n they came over every morning, stayed w us all day into the evening. We had bbq everyday, could watch movie at night, ride on paddle boat n go fishing. Great fire ring/ fire pit. Loved waking up in the morning n sitting on the porch n watching the birds n listening to the geese. If we come back down before we move to Missouri this is where we will stay! We brought our dog n he loved it. Lots of room to roam. Just so wonderful!! The ppl won care for the property also came by to check n see if we needed anything which was really nice of them. "

"Mel and Mike are wonderful hosts! They went above to make sure we had everything we needed. Very communicative throughout the entire process and the property is beautiful. So refreshing and relaxing to get away to the country! We stayed 3 nights for a bachelorette float and trip. The pool was cleaned daily, they made sure we had firewood, we mentioned we were making salads and they picked fresh veggies from their garden for us, and when the front porch became a popular hangout they brought up enough chairs for the entire group. The kitchen is fully stocked and handled every cooking/baking project we had planned. There were more than enough towels, blankets, and pillows, and the entertainment center was easy to use and logged into popular streaming apps. Beds were comfy (memory foam) and a group of young women all felt safe. This is a GREAT stay for animal lovers. We did not bring our dogs due to the nature of the stay, but would for a family vacation. Mike and Mel’s dogs are VERY well behaved and friendly. There’s also a sweet outdoor kitty cat that greeted us and hung out with us!! "

"My family and I rented the Bluebird Cabin for 4 days. It was a dream! It’s close to trout fishing, swimming, floating, and many other things. We even got rained out and still had a blast. It’s a great place to go to unplug as there is no service except for WiFi but honestly, who needs a phone when you’re busy having so much fun. If anyone is in the area and needs a safe place to stay, I’d definitely recommend Corky and Cathy. They’re great hosts and their properties are stunning. We We will definitely be back. "

"This was our second stay at this cabin. We loved it so much last year that we decided to take the 1000-mile drive to stay here again this summer. The cabin was perfect for our needs--rustic but with all the creature comforts, pet-friendly but clean and meticulously maintained, with a great yard and easy river access, secluded but close to town. Our dog absolutely loved swimming in the river! After two weeks at virtually any vacation rental, we're usually bouncing off the walls to get back home. Not this time. We would have gladly stayed longer, and we'd certainly love to rent this property again. It was that good. And the host certainly made us feel welcome with her great communication whenever we had any questions."

"This would be a fantastic place in any city but it was especially welcome in a tiny community right of the highway. Exceptionally clean, modern and comfy, and an especially welcoming treat from the crud we'd just experienced at two other hotels on this trip, and it was barely a noticeable difference in price from them. If you happen to be in the area looking for a room you won't be disappointed!"

"Rented this cabin due to the family being too large to stay at the family house. We were definitely the lucky ones! Got to come back to a/c!! Only have window units at the family house. Very clean, location was perfect, only 8 minutes from the rest of the family."
