"The condo is exactly as pictured. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. It requires walking up three flights of stairs, but my wife and I had no problem even though we are in our late 60s. There was a grocery store and liquor store a few blocks away, and the subway is just a 10 minute walk. I do recommend using Uber, which I found quite affordable. Our host Gary was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a great visit! The neighborhood was very nice."

"This property is in a great location. This property has most definitely NOT been refurbished. The furniture is awful, uncomfortable, and old. The beds squeak. The AC units are horribly loud. The bathroom is badly in need of renovation. The hosts are non-responsive. They didn't bother to leave enough toilet paper, trash bags or any dishwasher detergent. We actually did enjoy our stay but know what you are getting before you stay."

"Online description is on point. This is a roomie cottage that has views galore on a fantastic clean beach. Loved that within a 5 minute drive we had all the amenities in Newbury. The property is in need of some updates (as they clearly describe in their listing) but it was very clean and spacious. We would love to stay again."

"We loved the cool concept decor and open, light filled feel of the place. It is clean, quiet, and located about a 15-20 minute walk from the newbury beach and a 10 minute drive to downtown Newburyport. We brought our pup and he enjoyed playing at the beach as well as walking around some of the marsh trails. The local restaurants are SO good and some even dog friendly. "Marblehead is a great small community with strong historical roots (as seen by the old and renovated houses). Although the drive to a supermarket was a bit long, but the great cafes clise to the apartment made up for it."
