"A fantastic base for a London weekend. The staff were all helpful, accommodating and very attentive. Lovely breakfast with lots of tasty freshly cooked foods, great choice and nice dining area. Comfy, very warm rooms with plenty of room and everything we needed for our stay. Our only criticism is that after dropping an item that went under the bed we moved the bed to retrieve the item to find a lot of debris liked popped balloons and a few big balls of fluff. The overall cleanliness everywhere else was exceptional though. "

"We stayed for just 1 night and will only complain about the fact we could not control the A/C at night. It got a bit warm. Oddly I was able to control it in the afternoon/evening and the next morning. Prior to our arrival, we had been advised to request a room in the renovated area of the hotel and were told it would be provided if available. It is a short walk from Angel station which was convenient. We arrived a bit early with plans to have our luggage held if our room was not ready but, were pleasantly surprised with a room in the renovated area and complimentary upgrade. The woman who checked us in was friendly and efficient. The lobby and restaurant area were clean and modern. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit tight but, had a lovely mirror that lit up around the edge and a light up vanity mirror off the wall. Our view was just onto an inner service road with a view into another section of the hotel but, we didn't care. Check out was simple and the staff kindly held our bags while we went about our day. All in all, would stay again! "

"Great spot for a stay if you have a very early flight. A tad pricey. Glad it wasn't any warmer as the air con wasn't great, it was also very warm down in the bar area. But we could live with it for 1 nite."
