"I think this property is in the process of becoming a wonderful inn, but is not there yet. Under new ownership the past couple of years, the two brothers who own it seem serious about creating a first class stay experience, but still have some work to do. The fireplace pilot should have been turned on so we could enjoy it, since that was one of the reasons I booked our room there and no one was available to request that it be working. Lighting in the room was quite poor, with some burnt out light bulbs and the magnifying makeup mirror light was dim at best. There should be soap, shampoo, and conditioner available at the jacuzzi tub. The room overall was lovely. Nice touch with the comfy bathrobes. Breakfast was delicious! Worth giving a second chance."
