"What a beautiful property! It is true that it's over an hour from Charlottetown, but if you are visiting P.E.I. as an Anne of Green Gables enthusiast, it's a pretty and low-key drive to the Cavendish area from here. I recommend shopping at the ADL grocery store ahead of arrival so you can use the lovely kitchen provided to the guests. We didn't do this but wish we had, as many restaurants close at 8pm, even in the summertime, and if you miss that window, there will be very limited eating options nearby. If you need more space, rent #2 - it has a comfy pull-out couch in its sitting room. The area is quiet, as were all the guests. There is a back deck overlooking a lovely yard available to all, and several pleasant indoor sitting areas for a rainy day. The hosts are kind and accommodating."
