We remembered it being clean and comfortable, now it's SHINEY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. Even the small laundry was scrubbed after every use! If you are looking for a true Route 66 experience, choose the Blarney room with confidence; it's a true Mom and Pop Motel but extravagant compared to our stay 53 years ago."

"My husband and I and another couple were attending a music festival in the region and thought this place looked so fun. It is so well done-the upstairs rooms are converted cells-very cleverly done and very comfortable. The kitchen-the whole place-is very clean and nicely appointed. There are many amenities that we didn’t utilize but would be fun for a family with older kids. This is a darling place to stay! (Please note-‘the neighborhood’-Memphis-was not our destination, so I really can’t comment on that. We felt safe and comfortable in the Hall County Jail and that’s what was important for us!)"
