"we booked this room as we needed an overnight stay during a road trip. the room was nice and the location worked out great for the trip. the toilet bowl a noticeable smell. and there was no hot water. since we arrived pretty late we were hoping we can shower in the morning and leave but the water was freezing. we could barely wash our faces. there were no instructions as to how to turn the water heater on (assuming there was one) and we were in a rush so we couldn't wait for an answer."

"When my wife and I stayed it appears that they were in the process of updating and renovating this entire motel. The interior of our room had already been updated with fresh paint, new fixtures, floors, bed, bed stands, flat screen tv and a remodeled bathroom. Now It didn't mention it in the listing but I believe that the bathroom floors were heated which was a pleasant surprise. "Great location for the Death Ride to ride to/from the start/finish. It was great to have a comfortable cottage to stay in before and after such a long ride. This is probably one of the most well equipped cottage I’ve ever stayed in. Although the home doesn’t have AC, it was a non issue with the cool breeze & multiple fans provided by the owner. Mike was great and responsive with his communication. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"The cabin is modern, cozy, and comfortable. We happened to be there on a day that broke heat records for the area and the house remained quite cool. The house was perfect for 4 adults and 1 toddler to relax and recreate together and apart. The river is gorgeous and you really can hear it from almost every part of the cabin. Only advice: bring ice the first day because the fridge icemaker takes about 24 hours to get going. Such a lovely getaway from the concrete jungle!!"
