"When I originally booked my stay, comments from previous guests described the decor as old and outdated. I found the opposite. The building is old (German poet Schiller once stayed there), but the room was modern throughout with walk in shower and staff very professional and polite. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is right on the market square in the heart of the city within easy walking distance of everything. A farmer’s market is in the market square in front of the hotel several times a week as well as a stand with Thuringian bratwurst. A tourist info center by the market square next to city hall (Rathaus) was very helpful. I highly recommend the Adler Hotel in Rudolstadt."

"Ein sehr schöner,liebevoll gestalteter Bungalow.Alles war wie beschrieben. Durchdacht und funktionell eingerichtet. Dafür ein riesen Lob. Man konnte sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Die Umgebung ist perfekt. Für jeden was dabei, ob schwimmen, wandern, radfahren, shoppen oder einfach nur die Natur und die Sehenswürdigkeiten genießen. Vielen Dank für alles!! Kommunikation top! So macht Urlaub Freude. Unser Hund Bailys hat sich ebenso wie wir pudelwohl gefühlt."
