"Really nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. Bathroom was nice and clean, beds were comfy and clean. All areas were clean. Customer service was excellent Kim was awesome to me and my little one when he was buying icecream. Breakfast lady's were also awesome. Breakfast was great, omelets, sauge, eggs, bagels, waffles, muffins and many more items. I highly recommend this place."

"What a gem!! This hotel is more like a resort, but with the charm of an old, southern, colonial estate. It’s gorgeous! The rooms even have regular keys with a little brass key tag with your room number. The rooms were clean, have great a/c and tv, and a very comfortable bed. There’s no microwave or fridge which was fine, we don’t use them. The pool was huge and well kept, and overlooked the lake just like the pictures suggest. The staff was welcoming and super helpful. We walked into town and although we found it a bit overpriced, lots of shopping and dining available. We already have plans to stay again soon!"

"If you want to relax and enjoy the sound of nature this resort is a hidden jewel. I stayed there 2 weeks ago for only one night because I live only 45 minutes away from it but was curious about the resort and it’s amenities. It did not disappoint. It has a natural beauty and charming tranquility. The front desk staff as well as their restaurant staff was very attentive and pleasant."

"The check-in was a breeze! The proprietor was friendly and helpful with good advice on nearby restaurants and things to do. The proximity of Shamrock Inn to the downtown area makes this a great location. You will want to visit the downtown. The room is nice, clean, cool and whimsically decorated, not the same old hotel decor. I’m definitely coming back to Shamrock Inn!"

"This is a great value - great accommodations for the price. I think this was my first stay at an avid Hotel and I will definitely do so again. Also, the breakfast was really amazing, there was a a wide variety of foods."
