"We enjoyed our stay immensely. Frau Kirchler made us feel very welcome. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, even a small carton of milk. This is an upper floor apartment with slanted ceilings giving it a cozy character. The beds are firm and the furniture modern. We enjoyed the views onto the red roofs, gardens, and half-timbered houses. There is no elevator but only spiral staircases. Parking can be a challenge, very little close by, so ended up getting a parking ticket. This is a great place to experience small town German life including church bells, narrow streets and forest hiking nearby. "

"I attended a schoolclass reunion and we had the Green Room available to us from 4pm to midnight. We were incredibly well looked after with coffee, cakes, drinks, dinner and drinks. We were able to see photos etc projected to a white wallchart. Many thanks to the staff who were fabulous"

"We stayed here for a night before we had to fly away after a 2 week vacation traveling around and visiting family in Germany. The hotel room was small but comfortable, dining services weren’t at the restaurant but still a small comfortable space with several options, and the staff were amazing . Would stay here again! "

"The room was fine. However, it was very impractical to have only one key for the room, esp. when the room is on the 3rd floor. Frequently, one of us would have to walk down and open the door for the other. It should be possible to obtain two house and room keys when checking in."
