"Staying at The Grand is like stepping into a different world. The furnishings, antiques and attention to detail make you feel like you just don't want to be anywhere else. But the best part was the graciousness of hosts Paul and Brenden. Absolute gentlemen who made me feel at home in those sumptuous surroundings. Paul was so helpful with directions before I arrived, and Brenden cooked up a wonderful breakfast which was just what I needed before boarding the Spirit back to Geelong. I have attached a photo of The Grand that I took just before setting sail. This is the place to stay in Devonport!"

"We found this property worthwhile staying at. It is central to lots of the hikes we were keen on doing. The pleasant surprise was the meals at the pub across the road. Very clean rooms also. "

"Self contained cabin in the middle of farm country. Plenty of toiletries, breakfast provisions of fresh local fare, the pot belly stove was well stocked, electric blankets on the beds and a super friendly host to introduce us to the property then left us alone. Perfect! Add to that the gorgeous dogs to make you feel at home, plenty of local wildlife around and a coffee pod machine in the kitchen made it the perfect stay. My only regret is only booking 2 nights otherwise we could have really leaned into our stay. We'll definitely be back again."
