"Property is in a great location if visiting Shasta or surrounding parks. But, the furniture and appliances were dirty and outdated. The floors and kitchen were pretty dirty and gross. The fridge was loud and the outside was dirty. Tap water from the kitchen was metallic and undrinkable probably because of the pipes. Host communication was quick and great. The trip was great because the hikes and beauty around were wonderful. But Iā€™m not sure I would stay here again. I knew the train would...

"We loved our short stay at this rental. The lack of wifi and limited service meant that we put down our phones and spent some real quality time together. We read books and mountain-gazed from the back porch. The house is definitely quirky, but not in a way that is unexpected for the area and we appreciated all of itā€™s unique details. We were in town for a wedding and this home was the perfect respite from the social overstimulation of a large celebration."
