"We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The hotel’s lobby is beautiful. They have a buffet on site and a sandwich shop. The room is spacious and the furniture very rustic. The room is very dated and needs some remodeling especially the bathroom. The waterpark is very nice and convenient, however once again the bathroom/changing rooms need some fixing and the water park is extremely dated. Customer service was good. I had no idea they charged 100 hold per room and 69 dollars additional per room if you want early check in, which I didn’t know about until it was charged. We declined it because we were going hiking and didn’t return until the right time. So overall, I give this resort an 8 on the scale and yes we will return. "

"The desk manager was so nice. She changed our rooms around so my mother-in-law could use an accessible shower. She even went out of her way to run a shower chair down to her room. We really felt the staff not only offered great service, but genuine kindness to us."

"They are postcard sized, so what they advertise is what you get, which was perfect for me. I took a cabin just for a couple of days alone time with my puppers 🐶I could not have found a better place, and I will definitely come back. I do wish they had a mini microwave in the cabins, and I would suggest bringing an extension cord, because I could not find an outlet near the beds to charge my phone. As I travel with an extension cord, it was not a problem. Enjoy."

"This was a great experience staying at this hotel. Hotel was clean, breakfast was GREAT! I've never stayed at a hotel where there were gluten free options as well as healthy yogurt options, egg white omlets and fruit. I was able to stick to my normal eating while on the road. Wonderful. Will only be staying at HIE from now on. "
