"Really nice location close to everything we needed to do as well as groceries. We were able to get to hikes, kayaking and the beach in a short amount of time. The grounds were really nice even though the drive in was confusing. There was a sign pointing towards a direction where there was new build construction happening, with a gravel drive which was not drivable but once we figured out how to get to the cabin it was easier but it is a gravel driveway. Maybe confirm directions for once you pull into the driveway. The place was so cute overall the beds could use an upgrade but we had a really great stay!"

New Cozy Tiny Cabin Nestled in the Hiawatha National Forest

"This tiny cabin in the woods is a perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. My husband and I stayed here for 4 days with our pup and had a great time! The listing was super accurate which we were so happy about! Sometimes listings can look a lot nicer than what they are like in person but this cabin was exactly like the photos posted. Everything was very clean and we were comfortable. Hillary was always very quick to respond to my questions before and during our trip! There is a gravel road to get to the place so be prepared for that! We used the kayaks provided on the calm lake and it was so fun! We felt safe here and we were able to meet the neighbor, he’s a nice guy! We met him while kayaking- he was feeding the swans haha! We brought a lot of food to grill, Hillary has all the things you would need to grill or have a home cooked meal. The downtown area is about a 20 min drive, and there are multiple trails nearby. We only did the dog friendly ones but it still kept us busy for 4 days! Overall we highly recommend this cabin, it was perfect!!"
