Villa in the Jungle

lovely place situated in a very isolated place. feels very close to nature. Hotel style is very natural. Hotel facilities in my eyes are not justifying the price level. e.g. Beds are very uncomfortable

Luxury up a beautiful hill

The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... It's like a medieval castle: great boulders below, tiled roofs above, and an infinity pool looking out over the mountains. Large comfortable rooms with efficent fans, and a bathroom and sitting space looking out over the valley. Dining under a timbered roof open to the air, with excellent food. The chef doesn't have to try - there's no competition within reach, but he's imaginative and clever - a range of delicious not-too-hot curries, mostly. The only complaint; wifi only available in the dining area, and it makes old-fashioned dial-up modems seem quick.
