"This is an older hotel but is maintained. Had a water issue when we first got there, but it was handled promptly. It was a good hotel for a nights stay. Looked to be the best choice in the area."

10/10 Excellent
"We love this property for our quilting getaway. The work stations are setup so convenient and the house is so clean. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay and the area is extremely quiet. Our host responds quickly with friendly replies. We're already booked again for next year and can't wait to return!"

The Bird's Nest - 2 bedroom House

The Bird's Nest - 2 bedroom House

8/10 Good
"The house was spacious and nicely appointed. It had all of the necessities for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the cleanliness. The addition of end tables and lamps in the living room would be a welcome addition and some pillows for your back on the deep seated sofa and chair would make them more comfortable."

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our overnight trip. There was plenty of room for our group, and the space was perfect for relaxing after a busy day.The location worked out great for our trip to Missouri Star Quilt Company, and we really appreciated having such a comfortable place to come back to. Check-in was easy, communication was great, and everything was just as described. We would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others!"

Fall Family Fun at The Farm House - Spacious Country Retreat! Pet Friendly!

Fall Family Fun at The Farm House - Spacious Country Retreat! Pet Friendly!

10/10 Excellent
"We had such a great time with the farm house. As former residents of the area, we can confirm this is true farm house experience: gravel roads, farm land, sunsets, brief storms, windmills, and a huge bonus backing up to the conservation area. Over our trip we saw so much wildlife from white tail deer, coyotes, a ground hog, bats, a family of raccoons, and a bald eagle.Being rural does mean you need to plan for a few necessities if you aren't used to farm life. the two biggest is first bring bottle water for drinking and cooking since well water in MO is heavily farm influenced but fine for showers/laundry. Second don't skip bug spray on your ankles/shoes if you plan to explore any of the grassy areas because the chiggers will find you lol.House it self is also the real deal, but updated enough to provide a comfortable experience. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, napkins, trash bags, etc."
