Busy outside bar and indoor restaurant, obviously a favourite place with locals Good selection at breakfast, hot breakfast cooked on demand, which was excellent on Saturday and Sunday, less impressive on Monday. The bedroom was unbearably hot, the fan was unable to cope, but the hotel could not have mitigated this any more, as the room was in full sun all afternoon. "

"A beautiful, rural retreat. Wonderful facilities, extremely clean and homely. Comfortable bed with lots of in room extras, like home made shortbread, fresh milk with a mini fridge to store it in, lovely toiletries and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce, hence the brilliant taste. Excellent hosts who were so helpful, kind and genuinely interested and keen to assist and make our stay as nice as possible. Highly recommended. "

"A very nice hotel , good rooms and superb food and wines. Dover Sole for dinner was magnificent. Wines chosen from their adjacent wine shop ( corkage £10 per bottle ) were exceptional and good prices for Bin ends. Staff were very helpful , polite and very efficient."
