"The owner was awesome to work with. There were lots of touches to fit with the name Fairy Bowery. The artwork and decorations put the location in liminal space. The Air Conditioning was able to keep up with Nauvoo summer (in fact we had to scale it back to keep from freezing.) We were there for a family reunion, and all of the family that saw our location and accommodations was jealous. Next time we have a reunion in Nauvoo, we'll have to reserve it at least 6 months in advance to keep my...

"This cabin is a 1940s cabin and that's what it is. Don't expect luxury. Dogs and kids will love it -- bunk beds, a loft bed and a not-heavily-traveled road to walk dogs. The wall of west-facing windows gives a beautiful view across the Mississippi River for stunning sunsets. There's a small beach where you can sit. But beware -- GPS has NO idea where the cabin is. After being lost twice, I went to the app to message the host and realized there were driving instructions. But those weren't sent...

"My husband & I stayed a few nights at the cabin for our anniversary. The place is beautiful & oh so comfy. There were a few bugs indoors, but with the cabin being so far out in the country it's pretty expected. Communication with our host was super easy & quick. I needed a question answered & messaged the her. She responded within minutes. I would definitely stay again."

"Cute little country cabin! We enjoyed our stay!"

"i left suggestions in the book for the owner"

"Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts...

"This was a great property. It matched the description, was so close to the Nauvoo temple, was clean, and was a great stay. Communication from the host was clear and they promptly responded to us. We would stay here again. Thanks for a great stay."

"The location is excellent."

"What a beautiful place to stay!!! We loved everything about it! If you’re wanting the authentic pioneer experience this is the place to stay. "

"Charming little property on the Main Street into Nauvoo. It was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed walking into the historical area and to the temple. I would stay again. Easy check-in after great communication. Many thanks to our host."

"My family of 5 had a great stay in Nauvoo! The apartment was clean and the perfect size for us. The location was great for seeing historic Nauvoo and we were able to stay cool from the heat and humidity. I would definitely stay here again."
