  • Watermen's Cabana 2B is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment.

    Cabana 2B features one king bed and two twins and a full kitchen. The living room features leather furniture and a smart TV with cable. The full bath has a bathtub shower combo. The dining area features a table with seating for four. The living area provides access to a deck with seating for two and a shared charcoal grill.
    Watermen's Cabanas are just a short walk to REAL Watersports, Watermen's Bar and Grill or the beach with access to miles of wide-open, beautiful beaches.

    Cabana 2B is dog friendly (2 max) with a signed pet waiver and payment of the $175 pet fee.
    Guests of Watermen's Cabanas get kite launching and landing access at REAL Watersports and 10% off at the REAL Watersports Rental Shop.

    Additional amenities include Wi-Fi internet access, a private outdoor shower, an in-property washer and dryer and base level secure gear storage. All Watermen's Retreat properties include bed linens, made beds upon arrival, bathroom towels, drip style coffee maker, coffee filters, salt & pepper, dishwasher soap tabs, dish soap, sponge and kitchen towels.

We love everything! The rooms were spotless, the food was great, the atmosphere was tremendous. And, the Waterman's Retreat Team were the best. I highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay & excellent service

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Waterman's retreat cabanas. The unit was very clean and spacious. We had an issue with the HVAC in our unit during our stay, and management addressed the issue immediately. Overall very happy with our stay.

Great place!!!

Lovely place and very clean. A small walk to the beach. The hosts are very nice. They answer quickly if you need anything. Great big outdoor shower! :)) I would return!

Christmas on Hatteras Island

My Husband and I stayed at Waterman's Retreat over Christmas and had a lovely time. The apartment was spacious, stylish, and clean and centrally located in the villages. Management was responsive and easily accessible, and having REAL Watersports just across the street was super convenient with a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend staying with Waterman's

Clean and comfortable

The place was so cozy and comfortable. The location was excellent . I recommend the restaurant, Waterman’s grill. The staff is excellent and helpful. We are going to try the kite boarding next year. It was beautiful!

Awesome place!

We stayed at one of the Watermen's Cabanas and it was perfect! Such a great location and a great little cabana that is perfect for 3-4 people. The Watermen's Bar & Grill was absolutely amazing and additionally, the REAL Watersports store and rental shop was super ideal. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you are a surfer! We were able to head to the beach and catch some waves in the midst of our remote work days throughout the week and it was exactly what we were looking for. The only thing we recommend is to bring some of your own cooking ware as there are not many pots/pans for cooking in the cabana!

Great place to stay! I will be a repeat visitor in the future! Conveniently let us book mid-week to mid-week! Not many places doing that anymore. Excellant recreational area. fishing, sea-dos, kayaking, kite surfing etc... We'll be back!

Awesome little retreat

Property was nice and Cousy. We enjoyed the open layout from kitchen to living room and particular the modern furniture. Great place to stay in a easy going and not overly touristic area of the island.

Clean, efficient, cooking tools could be better but I am a cook and not all people are. Location, great - no view but a view costs $$$. Would stay again.

Superb Family Getaway

The Waterman's cabanas were simply a terrific and affordable way for our family to get away from DC, practice social distancing, and have a great time in a charming NC beach town. The living spaces and amenities were as advertised and pet friendly. The outdoor shower was private and clean, and the deck was a nice place to chill after a beach-day. Lots to do and great places to eat nearby. We'll be back again.
