Lucille's Hotel, Restaurant, & Bar

"We were traveling through on the way to Colorado Springs and needed to stop and rest. In my search I found Lucille’s. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in the entire trip. The rooms were spacious, staff were great. We had dinner at the restaurant and the atmosphere was great. The waiter was helpful and the food was amazing. We loved our short stay and hope to come back one day."

"I have always had clean rooms at this hotel with everything working properly. I like the amount of floor space, the kitchen setup, the extra rolling table, and all the other furnishings. The AC works great and is not too noisy. The staff were all amazing this time as there was an issue with a plumbing backup as a result of a failed pump on the septic tank. The staff handled it really well, closing down the first floor rooms and the hot breakfast service until all was resolved and everything was cleaned and disinfected. Through it all they stayed positive and helpful. I hope everyone who worked shifts this week got some recognition for going above and beyond the call."

"Super great property! We enjoyed the spaces set up for use, as in the summer heat, we couldn’t do as much outside in a heat wave.We loved reading on the couch, grilling dinner, and taking the short trail to the adorable bench overlooking the pasture for coffee and watching the sun set!The mattress was a bit tough for my husband’s back and the AC had a tough time getting low in the evening, so we left after the first night, but everything else was magical! We had a blast for my birthday, and the proximity to Roman Nose State Park was perfect! We went hiking from the lodge up to Inspiration Point and spent the afternoon walking the Spring Loop Trail and hunting for rocks and swimming in the springs, which were icy cold in temps well above 100 degrees."
