Watkins Glen is a great place to stay whether you are looking for ourdoor adventure, wineries, or car racing. Cool small town with lots of restaurants and shops, boat cruises on the river, and of course the famous race track and state park.

Quaint town that was all decorated for Christmas. They had a holiday parade on Friday night which was great. Gateway to the wine trail and very convenient.

The whole town was beautiful and friendly. Its quaint but has so much to do outdoors and great place to visit and we are planning on going back

There is now a vegan restaurant in Watkins Glen!! Yay!! Many more vegan options than there used to be.
"Overall very satisfied. Two queen room, comfortable, reasonably spacious. Nice shower/water pressure. We like the mini cabins down on the hillside towards the lake, but they were booked. Breakfast was reasonable $$ and excellent... breakfast burrito was +++. Have stayed here before, will again."
"Honestly, it was beyond my expectation! It was not super clean, but it was acceptable. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and work desk with a clean bed! The toiletry service was good. The hair dryer was not in good condition, but it was still working. Thier staff were nice and the site was quite! I recommend this place specially if you are like me and want to visit beautiful Hicks around here! "
