"Our stay at Amy's place was great! Amy's communication was impressive, always available and responding quickly. She wants to make sure you have the best time. The house is old, with slamming screen doors, which I love. Brings back memories from when I was little. Very interesting home. The home is well stocked with anything you could need! The Niantic River is great for kayaking and swimming. Water temp is perfect. The steps down to the river were easier as the week went on. I got my exercise! Plenty to do in the area. Submarine base was awesome, an ice cream shop a few minutes away by car. They even had a selection of dairy-free ice cream that was delicious. The book barn is a must see. Walk to the private beach, where we swam and saw big horseshoe crabs! We saw bald eagles across the river, heard foxes at night. It was a great stay, great memories to talk about later. We hope to stay again!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The farm is absolutely stunning, and our dog loved wandering the trails with us. We didn't have time to use the kayaks but did enjoy hanging out by the lake. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the space was exactly what we needed for 4 adults and a dog."

"This is our second time renting the farmhouse at Whitegate. It is a beautiful farm, with every amenity you could possibly want. We were a party of 8 adults, six children and two dogs. The house accommodated everyone with room to spread out. The only thing it needs is a few more comfy chairs for reading. The kitchen is wonderful with plenty of room for multiple cooks. My grandkids had a hard time deciding whether to swim in the beautiful pool or go down to the lake to kayak, swim and paddle board. In the evenings they had multiple fields to run around in playing laser tag. Pauline and her husband were a pleasure to work with and provided perfect service while allowing us the freedom to roam the entire farm. I can’t recommend them enough!Kristen Donelan"
