"We wanted a quick night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary but wanted a unique experience. We found it here at the River Rat Resort. The house boat was charming, clean & had everything we needed. Hosts were amazing! They were responsive, offering help. They knew of our celebration and made sure to acknowledge with a cupcake left for us in the refrigerator 💕. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. This was perfect!"

"Enjoyed the uniqueness of the house and location. Note: House and grounds are very nice but not easy to get around if you are elderly and have problems walking.We were in our late sixties/early seventies, not easy getting up to second floor. Low ceilings and doors difficult for 6 ft people. We love the antiques, pantry and great supplies."

"Had issue with check in. Nothing sent to phone as stated because of limited cell service in area. Had to go to office to get room and code. They have wrong room and had to go back for correct room. This was frustrating because it was after the check in time, which is later than most properties. The unit was fine, bare bones with decor etc. shower in one bathroom was leaking. I have stayed on property few times. This time was definitely less impressive."
