"The bed and linens were super soft and comfy. The room was very spacious and clean, and the neighborhood was peaceful. Thank you so much for the sweet extra snacks too — our kid was thrilled! Tina is the most responsible host, and we really appreciated everything she arranged to make us feel at home — 100/100!"

"great cabin we plan to make this our stay when we travel to anchorage as we travel down quite a bit and left it as clean as when we walked in very very nice comfortable beds and great place to stay very quiet and in the trees got a fire pit out side in the trees"

"Overall, we liked this place and would stay again. It was great for our extended family with kids. Great backyard and pool, and the house was very kid friendly. Lots of space. We stayed on our way through town and it was convenient to the highway. Neighborhood was quite and typical Alaskan. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was that it was uncomfortably hot in the bedrooms and the curtains weren't blackout in all the rooms. We travel with blackouts just in case, so that was fine. It was a warmish (upper-60s when we arrived), cloudy day and the temp in the house was almost 80 when we arrived late in the day. We only had a few hours to open windows to cool it down, and it was still pushing 80 in the upstairs rooms. We ended up sleeping with the windows open (despite no screens, but luckily no mosquitos) but with little wind it was not a good night sleep. The bunk room only had a floor fan, so only one lower bunk and the pull out trundle were able to benefit. There were also no flat sheets on the bunk beds, just flannel fitted sheets with heavy sherpa like blankets and pillowcases that really weren't appropriate for the summer and didn't help the situation. The beds were very comfortable though (even the bunk beds) except the trundle mattress had a noticeable dip in the middle our child complained about)."

"Overall the house is good. A lot of bedrooms and nice common area to gather. The host answered super quickly when I had questions about things I couldn't find. (I should have read the check-in notes about looking in the closet at the top of the stairs for some things.) So great to be in the middle of all the events for the wedding we attended - location, location, location!I didn't think of this when we booked, but we brought our elderly father with us. He pointed out that the handrail for the stairs didn't go all the way to the top of the stairs. He felt unsure every time he went up/down to the bathroom. This isn't a fault of the house, but a reminder to me to check a few more details for my next booking. I would book this place again!"

"We loved this vacation house and it beautiful lake. The master bedroom & bathroom were very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of blankets for those chilly nights. Three smaller bedrooms and a full bath had comfy beds and spacious closets. The loft above the garage was a perfect hangout space for our 3 grandsons, with a half bath, mini fridge, and the ping pong table, which got a lot of use. The lake setting of the property was gorgeous. Many of us went on canoe rides, kayaked, and fished in Lake Lucille. We enjoyed the ducks and other beautiful birds, especially the soaring eagles that live in the area. The livingroom & dining spaces were perfect for our family. The kitchen was well appointed and provided everything we needed to cook family meals. The full sized W&D was a plus with a big family and kids who enjoyed the water. The property is just far enough on the edge of Wasilla to feel like a private lake setting and close enough to the town that had everything we needed. The Large Fred Meyer store and others on the main road made shopping easy and convenient. We visited the beautiful Catholic Church on Sunday, which was a plus. The owner Jed and his sweet Mother dropped in to meet us and to make sure everything was satisfactory. Jed rented us his canoe and kayaks for a reasonable price, which we definitely enjoyed. There's a nice hotel and restaurant next door, but a tall privacy fence kept us separated nicely. The neighbors are friendly and we truly felt at home."
