"Overall, the Country Inn & Suites worked out great for what I needed--a clean, comfortable place to stay while in town for a wedding. My bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. It's pleasant/no frills. I interacted with 3 staff members who were all kind and helpful. This location is tucked away (fairly hidden actually) behind a movie theater and completely empty shopping center. There is one restaurant within walking distance, but the upside is it's open late."

"It was a very nice hotel. The pool is nice and clean and the owner was very nice and sweet. Power did go out on our second day and night. We had to leave because one of my sisters has asthma and couldn’t take the heat with no air conditioner. "

"Hotel was within a 10 minute drive to Grand Rapids. Check in was very smooth and gentleman provided excellent service! 3 of us stayed in Queen Room w/sofa bed, all beds were comfortable. Plenty of plugs for chargers and counter space. Super convenient with Walmart next door. Room was on first floor by after hour entrance door, yet super quiet. Price was alot lower than Grand Rapids downtown area but still so close. Highly Recommend"

"This was my first trip to Saugatuck, so I really didn’t know what to expect. I’m a hotel snob (annoying to both myself and anyone I travel with). Rob called me and I was immediately set at ease. The charm cannot be captured on camera. Loves: 1. Rob, the owner, is welcoming. 2. Well thought special touches, like corkscrews, lighters, grills, and morning coffee. 3. The pool is pristine! No sand, super clean, sparking, well-balanced water! 4. The community fire pit and abundant lounging furniture, firewood, etc. 5. The rooms are 5 star clean, all bedding is washed after every guest, carpet looks nee and respected, fridge/freezer, nice furniture, not a cobweb in sight. 6. Upon checkin, Rob points out sights and attractions on a map. 7. Relaxing music all day long on the patio. 8. Rob knows guests by name bc many people are regular visitors. 9. Comfortable sleeping. Location - a great fit for those who have bikes and want to relax, a short drive to everything. Thank you! I can’t wait to return!"
