I had an excellent stay and would gladly return. For the price, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. My room was exceptionally clean, with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, clean bathroom, well-maintained furniture, and everything in good working order. The property felt safe, quiet, and well cared for, and every staff member I encountered was courteous and welcoming. The location is another major advantage. There is an IHOP just steps from the hotel, additional shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and public transportation is conveniently nearby. As an added bonus, the sunset views from the front entrance can be spectacular on a clear evening. After staying in a variety of hotels during my travels, I genuinely believe this is one of the best values I have found. It provided exactly what I needed: a clean, peaceful place to rest and recover. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable hotel in the area. 147

Great and clean location there is no free parking have to pay for parking in the shared garage also the pool was under repairs I was told this has been an ongoing situation but on the site it don't mentioned anything about the pool no being available and I chose tbis location just for the pool. Breakfast was great and the staff was awesome and helpful

PROS: 1. The room was immaculate. 2. Access to DC and College Park was so convenient. 3. The waffle maker machine made great waffles. 4. I could park right outside of my room. CONS: 1. The continental breakfast was almost non-existent. Aside from the waffles, there was almost nothing else to eat. Not well-stocked and you had to track down a staff member to get items. 2. Staff speaks limited / no English. 3. The plexiglass barrier in the front lobby was annoying and the person at the registration desk was barely audible when discussing check-in. 4. I realized why the plexiglass barrier is there; there can be occasional street folk who are not hotel guests coming in for shelter / free food. I encountered one in the lobby who was high, aggressive, and ended up wrecking the continental breakfast when he was denied food. Prince George's County's finest was called and it took 4 cops to subdue this individual in the parking lot, along with ambulance and a firetruck present. 5. There is a burned out car in the parking lot. Adds to the the inner city aesthetic. All kidding aside, this is a minimally safe place to stay. I left nothing in my room when I left in the AM, and I left nothing in my parked vehicle when I arrived back in the evening. The staff were gentle and almost invisible. The person at the front desk was well-meaning and a kind guy, but no match for bad folk who trespass.

Fine place to rest your head

Overall, this was fine and I would stay again if I was just looking for a place to crash for the evening (which I was!). I was able to check in early which I very much appreciated, staff was courteous, cost was very reasonable, and I liked the proximity of the IHOP and public transit. My complaints are that the walls were very thin and you could hear everything from outside your room, the TV did not work well, and the vending machine room looked like it had never been attended to and did not feel very safe.

The good thing was the room was clean. The staff up front was not helpful seemed more interested in playing on his cell phone then checking us in. Not much of a choice on breakfast but if you just need a place to crash and sleep, this inn will work for you.

The first encounter was a bit offsetting, with a thick window separating the counter, and not able to understand through the 1" gap. Had I been a walk-in, I probably would have avoided. Truck noise was annoying, with backup beeps offering an unrequested alarm clock. Breakfast was frugal. Fine for a single night while passing through. Good bed and hot shower.

Room was better than some reviews here write. It was clean, the bed was fine, everything worked. There are indeed some noisy and sketch-looking types sometimes in the parking lot. Friendly breakfast tips: (1) Don't believe the 2-1/2 minute timer on the waffle-maker. They come out with partly raw batter. Instead, let your waffle cook 3 or 3-1/2 minutes. (2) When they run out of stuff (syrup for waffles, yogurts), INSIST the front desk clerk tell the assistant to get more. They don't like to be bothered. (3) Although breakfast is officially till 9 am, they start taking down stuff 10-15 minutes early. So, get there by then if you want breakfast.
