"The price I received for four nights was great in comparison to many others I had checked. The location was great. Within walking distance of many sites, and there was a Metro station next door and the other one just across a one block park. There were also buses just across the street. The room was small but comfortable and the staff cleaned it every day. Really good experience!"

"The Darcy is a good hotel located in a prime area. My only objection, and that is why I don't give five stars, is that it charges an amenity fee of about $40 per day that is not necessary. You have to pay the fee even if you don't use it. For example, it offers a drink during happy hour, but if you are not in the hotel at that time, you can't redeem it later at night. It feels like an added mandatory fee that increases the price of each night's stay. The daily rate seems low at this location, but once you add the amenity fee, it matches other, more expensive hotels in the area."

"This place is great! Everything is well kept, all of the staff super friendly, and located close to the NoMa metro station which made life so easy. The valet was nice, we didn't have to carry our luggage throughout the whole city. Shoutout to Solomon, he was our valet majority of the time we needed it, and he is AWESOME! We were so stressed about rushing to get out of the car and he has just such a calming presence and offered us plenty of help. So kind, we will miss him and our stay here!"

"Picked this because reviews said it's a great stay for solo traveler. Was on business there for the next day Monday, already on Sunday. It's in the middle of town, by a church. It's nice to just walk around and I got some food which I took to my hotel room to eat while watching tv. They have a huge amount of channels. Location is walkable from metros and bus stops. I definitely will stay there again if on business for downtown DC. Staff I met (reception and cleaning lady) was very friendly. Makes you feel at home."
