"Would have liked to have talked to someone at some at some point. I always ask about places to see, points of interest, local hikes, etc. Also, an ice machine in the office would be a great addition. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing."

"Had a wonderful stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find the property was very private with no houses or other people around. The pictures of the property don't quite do this spot justice. Loved that you could also hear the nearby creek as well. I'll be back for sure."

"Things could use a good dusting."

"Great stay! Kelly was a great host."

"Wonderful experience all around. The house was as shown. It felt cozy and like home. I would definitely stay at The Carolina Place again!"

"Great place to get away. "

"This is a gem of a modern Scandinavian remote country cottage. The landscaped fire pit patio, and large covered front porch are very comfortable outdoor areas. Indoors has everything you need including a very comfortable and deep bathtub. We were a group of 4 friends traveling to hike at Grayson’s Highlands and thoroughly enjoyed our evening here."

"The house was exactly as on the website. We felt nestled away in the woods. While it felt secluded, we close to the main street, a grocery store, winery, and West Jefferson State Park. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend."

"Thank you for hosting this stay. The property was beautiful and peaceful."

"Cozy place with great location for hiking at Grayson Highlands. The only issue we had was that the refrigerator was very noisy."

"Cute, clean, cozy, convenient. It’s a great place. We were just in for a quick in and out. We will stay longer next time. I recommend!"

"Great location with just a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Kelly is quick to respond to any questions you may have."

"Great Communication from the host… the house was very clean and cozy! We will definitely book again."

"Wonderful place. It was so peaceful. Would absolutely recommend!"

"Clean and well kept property! Highlights were back deck with fire pit, grill and cozy lounge set! Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. We would go again!"
