Upon entering this home away, you'll be greeted by the stylish open floor plan, a wood-burning stove to cozy up beside after a day on the slopes, and modern furnishings in the living area that everyone will love kicking back on each night. Step out to the wonderful deck to take in the surrounding nature or enjoy a summer barbecue while cooking up some burgers on the private gas grill! When it is a bit too chilly to have a cookout, the full kitchen is home to a farmhouse sink, island seating, stylish cabinetry, and all of the utensils needed to make the chef of the group feel right at home when mealtimes come around.

Walk right out to the main road and flag down the Mad Bus for a free shuttle to each mountain. Ski enthusiasts will enjoy the convenience of the various resort options nearby, with Sugarbush located just one mile away and Mad River Glen six miles north. The town of Waitsfield is a short drive away, boasting many great restaurants, a taproom, and the Big Picture Theater. The Mad River is a great area for all kinds of adventure like kayaking, hiking, and biking.

We had a great end of summer long weekend. Everything was cozy and easy to find. There was great food and walks close by. We loved enjoying the sun on the decks and some family game time in the living room with our family of 4!

The layout of the house was nice with tje bedrooms downstairs and living area upstairs. The kitchen was very nice. Vacasa responded very quickly to and questions. We had a great time.

This cottage is perfectly located between the two sugarbush peaks with transportation right at the end of the street to take you to both. The cottage is well maintained, cozy and in close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores.(10 min). would recommend and stay again.

The house is in a great location. Just a few minutes drive to the hill! We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the wood stove. Our only complaint was that the heater in the hall on the first floor didn’t work and was very cold unless the heat was on high in the bedrooms which would make it difficult to sleep.

This home has everything that you could ask for in a ski and year-round rental. 5 mins away from both Lincoln Peak & Mt Ellen, 5 mins to Mad River Barn, Hyde Away, Blue Stone Pizza, Lawson's Brewery, Grocery Stores, hiking, mountain biking, etc. Warm showers (check), rooms heat up super quick (check), AC on both floors (check), 2 elevated decks to enjoy nature (check), wood burning stove (check), open floor plan for kitchen and living room (check), etc. Our family absolutely loved our stay and we're already marking our calendars for the next time we can come up this year. Thank you so much for opening your super cute home to guests.

Unfortuantely, our experience at this place is poor. First of all, we found that the dishwasher, dishes and mugs are not cleaned, food residues found in the dish washer, dishes, coffee stains remained on mugs. It seems no clean service was performed. We had to wash the dishes, mugs all over again. Then we find a blood stain on one of the bedsheets. This would be unacceptable by any standard. Thirdly, the kitchen sink faucet failed and became unusable (the inlet hose came off) on the first day, and only fixed on the second day around noon time. Lastly when we tried to contact the management ( Vacasa, not Vrbo) requesting compensation, they have no response. Will contact Vrbo for assistance.

This home is cozy, clean, and comfortable! We will definitely stay here again! I loved the beds and every room has its own heat control. My husband and I loved this sweet home for our family of four.

The house had two bathrooms, but one downstairs with the bedrooms was pretty tight and rustic. We had to rent a place on very short notice, and this worked for the weekend as it was close to our events. We did have to contact the agency about there being lots of cobwebs in the house and all over the windows so we couldn’t open the windows, but they were very quick to respond and sent someone out to clean, so was pleasantly surprised.

This home was perfect for my wife and two kids. It was minutes from Sugarbush, local restaurants, and the downtown area. The house has a cozy Vermont feel, but with all necessities needed. Thank you for a perfect weekend. We will definitely save this house and be back next year!

The furniture is cheesy and the water tasted terrible, the mattresses were weird and it took a while to figure out how to open the door but in the end we had a good time, nobody was unhappy and what do you expect for a place aimed at skiiers?

Clean and convenient. Plenty of space and quiet. Kitchen was outfitted to enable dinner preparations. Good WiFi. Reasonable check out process (start sheets and run dishwasher) Things that would make it even better yet: 1) better fitted screens. Was concerned about leaving windows open over night and whether bugs would get in. 2) television was a little difficult to use.

Beautiful chalet right in the center of German Flats Road a perfect location to visit either Mt. Ellen or Lincoln! The home was perfect with a beautiful kitchen and open layout so we all could hang out together. Highly recommend if looking for a place for a family - the home was clean and comfortable.

My husband and I loved our summer stay here with our two little kids. The house is just as pictured. It was clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely save this house and look forward to booking next year!
