"The staff was very friendly and helpful so many things to do around the area."

"Friendly staff at the hotel and the pub downstairs , clean rooms , it’s an old Pub , but bed was fine ."

"Cabin was clean and had everything you would need plus extras. Kitchen well equipped, lounge and bed very comfortable. Nice to sit outside on the veranda. Only downside was the bathroom is very small and hard to use the sink to clean teeth plus one side of the bed is against a wall. But overall a great place to stay for a few days."

"Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. "Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. "Location was AMAZING! Couldn’t ask for a better view or environment to be in. Lodge was clean and perfect for our stay. Only suggestion was the cafe/dining being open longer."

"Wanted to be in nature and this was a perfect spot for it."

"Very nice for what we wanted to do. Mount warning closed but the camping experience for grand child was what we wanted."
