"My 10 year old and I stayed here while my 12 year old was playing in Cooperstown. It was a great visit and Shannon was an awesome host. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this place for anyone considering staying"

"The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Peter & Bernadette were wonderful to work with and great hosts! We were sad that we didn’t get to utilize all the amenities & nature the cabin had to offer because our schedule did not allow. But, we did enjoy the time we were able to spend at the cabin. The Memory Book and just the feel of the cabin gave us some nostalgia for my husband’s family’s cottage in No. Michigan❤️ Things to note- we had issues with cell service. We were able to text and FaceTime using the WiFi, so we were able to check in on the little guy at home and be reached in an emergency. The fridge is not a regular size kitchen fridge. There are 2 dorm size fridges with freezer areas. They worked great and fit our needs for the time we stayed. If we had our family with us and were staying for a week, then it may not have worked for us as well. Overall, we really enjoyed the cabin and would stay again!"

"Our group of 6 (wife, friend, our three young kids, and myself) had a lovely time at this house. The house is bright, well maintained, clean, with a properly stocked kitchen. We had an amazing 3 day weekend without straying more than 10 minutes from the house. The kids loved the reading nook, boardgames, game room, and outdoor playset, while the adults spent most of our time on the lovely deck and outdoor seating. For the slightly chilly nights we all migrated to the hot tub and very nice firepit. The hosts have created a very well marked trail through the woods behind the house that was a great way to get into nature with little effort. The state park 5 minutes down the road had beautiful trails, and a nice waterfall/river that we spent an afternoon playing in (there is also a great looking pool that wasn't open yet). The next day we spent the afternoon at the Rockland cidery (also 5 minutes away) enjoying drinks and live music while the kiddos played cornhole and ran in the field. It's worth mentioning that there isn't a nearby full-sized grocery store, so plan on grabbing food on your way in. Catherine and Diego were very responsive and helpful with anything we needed (which was very little). We highly recommend their home for a relaxing weekend in nature."

"The house was perfect for our needs. Our family had a blissful week of lake time, coffee on the deck overlooking the water, campfires in the evening, and time to relax in the hot tub. A trip to the National Baseball Hall of Fame was an easy and pretty drive away. The house was exactly as described and was the perfect quiet and remote spot that we wanted. We would definitely recommend Lago House."
