"We loved our stay at this cabin! It was clean, had lots of soft blankets, a lovely propane stove, and was very well stocked with everything we would have expected for a vacation rental. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. The Tollgate community was easy to navigate and had some great trails for taking walks in the snow. We will definitely keep this cabin on our list for future stays! "

"This home was great for our group. Tucked back in our favorite part of Black Butte, it was quiet, cozy, and comfortable. We loved the dining area for games and meals and had plenty of space."

"Very quiet and convenient, just a 5 minute drive to town. Nice walking/ biking trail right out the door. Other things we especially enjoyed were the master bath shower and window, views of trees and grass in nature, rather than a suburban lawn and garden, stove and kitchen sink and faucet, ordinary coffee maker, soft foot rest, tv screen hidden away in the cabinet except when in use, clothes hooks. We would enjoy eating on the deck but the table was very dirty."

"The day of arriving to the cabin was told they were having soler panel issues, they knew this in advance because the outs in the cabin had tape over them which wasn't new. They had an extension cord running next to the shower and out the window so anyone taking a shower could possibly be electrocuted by touching it, and it definitely did meet code. I was bitten up by bugs in the cabin because there are gaps in all the windows, either from electrical cords running into the windows or by badly...

"Exceptionally clean and well cared for cabin. The owner provides all of the necessary amenities, even wi-fi. The location makes it easy to hike along the a Metolius River in either direction. If you’re thinking about renting here, do it! "

"We grew up coming to the Metolius River - one of our favorite places in the world. Have been campers all our lives, but getting too creaky for that now. This is second best to camping... maybe better according to my husband. Easy walk to Camp Sherman store, the river and fly-fishing, spectacular hiking. Well stocked cabin with beautiful deck overlooking the river. Serene. Will be back!"
